In Italian, Far Niente translates to do nothing. We take that same conceptual sentiment and apply it to a classical Renaissance sculpture, collaged with an abstract expressionist square that adds a bold pop of color to define both form and space. The rectangle provides pictorial structure as well as a sense of motion and atmosphere.
